Syncing your contacts is one of the most important things you should do when using Zoho CRM. In this article, you will learn how to sync your contacts from Google and Microsoft.
Permission Required: Users with the Sync with Google Contacts permission can access this feature.
- Log in to Zoho CRM.
- In Zoho CRM, go to Setup > Marketplace > Google > Contacts.
- Authenticate Google Contacts by clicking here and signing in:
- In the Sync Contact page, do the following (image below):
- Choose the Google Contact list and the Zoho CRM Contacts list from the drop-down.
The contacts from the selected lists will be synchronized. Choose one of the Sync Options.
- 2 Way Sync
- 1-Way: Push from Zoho CRM Contacts to Google Contacts
- 1-Way: Push from Google Contacts to Zoho CRM Contacts

The first time you sync your contacts, you can select the 2 way sync in order to have all contacts in both places (Zoho CRM and Google Contacts). But then, we recommend selecting 'Push from Zoho CRM Contacts to Google Contacts' to ensure that no one from your organization accidentally deletes a contact from Google and it gets deleted in Zoho CRM.
Select one of the following options when there is a conflict in contacts in both the places.
- Zoho CRM contact will overwrite the Google contact
- Google contact will overwrite the Zoho CRM contact

We recommend to select Zoho CRM contact will overwrite the Google contact
- Choose the synchronization Frequency from the drop--down list.
- Map the fields in Google and Zoho CRM. Mapping fields refers to the process of aligning the fields in both systems so that the data in each field can be transferred accurately during synchronization.When syncing contacts between Google and Zoho CRM, it is important to ensure that the fields in both systems match.

For example, if you have a 'First Name' field in Zoho CRM and a 'Given Name' field in Google Contacts, you need to map these fields together so that the data in each field can be transferred correctly during synchronization.
- Click on Save.
