Folders
Create a folder
- Click on the '+' icon next to the Folders menu.
- The Create Folder dialog box appears.
- Type the folder name.
- Select your preferred placement for the new folder. By default, there will be '/' showing that the new folder will be a root folder and not a sub-folder.
- Click on Save.
- Right-click on the new folder to Create a Subfolder, Edit Folder or Delete Folder.

Apply filter to a folder
- Click on the Setup icon (
) on the right menu.
- This window will appear:
- Click on Filters.
- Select Incoming or Outgoing filters.
- Click on + New filter.
- In this example we are going to create an Incoming Emails filter:
- Type the filter name.
- Select the condition type.
- Select the conditions. For example, all mails from sales@blungo.com.
- Choose the action. In this case we want to move all these emails to our new folder 'Sales'.
- Click on Save.
Create a tag
Zoho Mail provides features to tag emails and associate a color with it. Colors help in identifying emails that fall under multiple classifications easily.
Click on the '+' icon in Tags.
The Create Tag dialog box will appear. Type the Tag name, choose the color from the palette and click on Save.
The New tag will get saved under the Tags menu.
Edit/delete a tag
Right-click on the tag to edit it.
Drag & drop to change its sort.
Apply the tag to an email
Any number of tags can be applied to a single message.
Apply tag from the inbox
- Select the email by clicking on the checkbox.
- Click on Tag as.
- Select the tag.
Apply tag from the email
- Open the email you want to tag.
- Click on the Tag icon.
- Select the tag.
- You can see the tags in each email here:
- Or click on the tag and see all emails with this tag.
